Is The Ninja Creami Ice Cream Maker Worth It?

The answer is YES it’s worth it. But I wouldn’t buy the same model I have now.

So, I saw it on Instagram way before I bought it, like so many of you reading this probably have, or on some social platform.

This person has a Ninja Creami, this fitness influencer has the best protein ice cream, etc. etc. and I was like nah. I’m busy, I don’t have time for yet ANOTHER appliance, and also it’s not like it’s 20 bucks, these are a few hundred dollars, (price varies depending on which one you get).

Now, I did like the idea of it don’t get me wrong, especially the high-protein, whole-ingredient kind of recipes that were happening. Cause I LOVE ice cream, I mean who doesn’t, actually maybe some people, and hey that’s fine. Warning: If you hate ice cream, definitely do not buy any shape or form of these machines, you will be sad.

But here’s how I ended up with one…I was at Winners, and there was one for,…let’s just say a DEAL… And I impulse bought it, which disclaimer: “is a very bad idea, and not a good habit to be impulse buying”.

Anyways moving on, I actually am in love with it, we now eat ice cream every week and it’s been a hit in the family. Howeverrr I wouldn’t recommend the model that I have, unless you want it specifically for the swirl.

The model I have…

Ninja Creami Scoop & Swirl 13-in-1 Ice Cream and Soft Serve Maker. Which does both scoop ice cream, or soft serve swirl. I think it’s fun but we RARELY use the swirl feature, we more just blend and scoop, and eat, I also find when we do the swirl soft serve the ice cream is already a lot softer and melts so fast, which I don’t love, especially on a hot summer day. If you do like the swirl soft serve idea, you can shop it below.

I think if you had children maybe it would be more fun, but as a busy working girl it’s just an extra 5 mins I don’t have. So, not saying it’s bad, but if price is what’s holding you back, just get the other one!

Ninja Creami Scoop & Swirl 13-in-1 Ice Cream and Soft Serve Maker

This is the one I have, and it allows you to choose between scoop style ice cream or soft serve swirl. It has a lot of different settings for different types of ice cream. This is because high protein, sorbets, etc. all process at slightly different settings.

The one I would recommend you buy

I would recommend the non-swirl, option that isn’t quite as costly. It makes the ice cream the exact same and allows you to smash those protein goals in no time.

So yes, if you don’t have one yet, what are you even doing? I’m not sponsored, but buy this one…
